John Mourad is an Egyptian self-taught artist and sculptor, born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1995
His talent was discovered at the age of two
He started taking free courses at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Zamalek when he was in primary school
Won a golden medal prize in 2011 from Shankar’s International Children’s Competition for schoolchildren and got an appreciation certificate from the Indian ambassador and the Egyptian Hall of Fame Illustrator Mustafa Hussien He has been self-taught in sculpture for the last 10 years
Graduated from Mass Communications in 2017
Worked as an illustrator in Sabah El Kheir Magazine for more than 6 years until the moment
an illustrator in El Kahera journal
Worked as an icon artist at the Coptic Orthodox Center and an illustrator at the Bible Society
Worked at Konouz Egypt Replica Treasures as a painter and sculptor
Many artists’ work inspired him as his art style naturally changed to Impressionism, like Claude Monet, Joaquin Sorolla, Kroyer, and John Singer in painting, and Paulo Trobtezkoy, Rodin, Mariano Benillure in sculpture
